I am unable to complete the checkout process on Hoopla. Could there be an issue with my library card?
Hoopla gives you access to thousands of digital books. With “Instant” titles, everyone can borrow the same book at the same time with no waiting. Your library pays a small fee each time someone borrows a title, so many libraries set a daily spending limit.
If you see the following message, your library has reached the daily spending limit:
“The collective daily borrow limit set by your library has been reached and will reset at midnight. Please browse and add titles to favorites so you can easily access them after midnight.”
This is not a problem with your card. If you receive this message, we suggest trying to check out your items first thing in the morning.
